If you have a craving for a sweet treat but don’t want to messy up your kitchen or spend hours baking, this Nutella mug cake recipe is for you! It is the perfect dessert for one, or two, and it is so quick and easy to make. If you love Nutella as much as I do, you are sure to love this mug cake that you bake in the microwave! By the way, you can find my mug here, it’s such a good one! All you need are four simple ingredients: 1-Nutella 2-Baking powder 3-Flour 4-Milk
How to make this Nutella mug cake:
Measure out all your ingredients and add them to a mug. Mix with a fork until no lumps remain. Place in the microwave and cook on high for 60 seconds. All microwaves will vary so it is important to watch closely. After the 60 seconds are up, check to see if it still looks wet. If it does continue microwaving at 10 second intervals until the sides start to pull away from the mug and no more liquid remains. This recipe will make one mug cake, but you can easily double it to make two. I think this is the perfect date night in dessert, maybe for Valentine’s Day?
Additional toppings:
You can serve as is, while warm of course. But how about trying some of these additional toppings? Powdered sugar sprinkled on top would look great. What about whipped cream and raspberries? Chocolate chips? What would you add to the top? Here is the printable recipe for you. I hope you love it and give it a try!
