This easy string cheese manicotti is a favorite in our house and it is so simple to make!
If you are looking for an easy and delicious quick family dinner, this string cheese manicotti is it!
Each pasta shell is stuffed with string cheese and topped with a mouth watering marinara!
Serve with a salad, a rustic bread, and a glass of red wine for a perfect easy fall dinner.

Ingredients-
1 8-ounce box manicotti shells approximately 12
1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
1 onion chopped, I used red but you can use yellow or white
1 26-ounce jar good marinara sauce
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
12 pieces string cheese
shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions-
Cook manicotti according to package directions.
Meanwhile, add onion to a large skillet with a bit of olive oil and cook on medium heat for approx. 5 min.
Brown beef with onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink.
Add marinara sauce, and seasonings to skillet.
Stir together to combine.
Spread half of meat sauce onto the bottom of a baking dish.
Stuff each manicotti shell with a piece of string cheese and arrange in baking dish.
Top manicotti with remaining meat sauce.
Sprinkle on shredded parmesan cheese, as much as you’d like!
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly.
