Our King Of Christmas tree preview.
As the holidays approach, one of my favorite traditions is decorating our Christmas tree. Every year feels like a fresh start, and I love trying new ideas while still holding onto the magic of past seasons. This year is extra special because I’m partnering with King of Christmas again, and I can’t wait to show you what’s in store.
For now, consider this your King Of Christmas tree preview. I’ll be sharing photos of last year’s tree as inspiration and giving you a little teaser of the new tree I’ll be styling for the 2025 holiday season. Think of it as a before-and-after waiting to happen — and I promise, you won’t want to miss the reveal.

Last year’s Christmas tree was one of my favorites — simple, neutral, and full of texture. I layered soft white ornaments, natural tones, and strands of wooden beads to create a cozy, organic look that blended perfectly with our modern rustic home. The gold train circling the base added just the right nostalgic touch, while kraft-wrapped gifts and twinkling lights made the whole space feel magical yet understated.

last year’s King Of Christmas tree
Last year I decorated the King Noble Fir from King of Christmas, and it quickly became one of my favorite trees to date. The silhouette was full and natural, and the branches looked so realistic. I kept my color scheme neutral, layering creamy whites, champagne tones, and soft metallics for an elegant and timeless look.
If you missed it, you can see the full post here: Elegant Christmas Tree Decor Ideas. In that post, I shared all the details of how I styled the King Noble Fir, along with my go-to ornament sources, ribbon tricks, and tree-skirt ideas. It was one of my most-pinned holiday posts, and I still get messages asking about the ornaments.
Looking back at those photos now makes me even more excited for what’s coming this year.

introducing the rushmore fir
This year I’ll be decorating a brand-new tree: the 7.5′ Rushmore Fir from King of Christmas. It comes pre-lit with 750 warm white LED lights and has a lush, layered look that’s perfect for showing off ornaments. I haven’t styled it yet (stay tuned for that!), but I can already tell this tree is going to be a showstopper.
What I love about the Rushmore Fir is its balance between fullness and branch spacing. It has that classic Christmas-tree shape with just enough room to let each ornament shine. It’s also the perfect height for our living room, making it a versatile option whether you like a minimalist look or a more layered, maximalist tree.

a teaser for what’s to come
Since this is just a king of christmas tree preview, I’m not sharing the new tree decorated yet — but here’s a little hint about the direction I’m going: think cozy textures, natural elements, and a touch of sparkle. I’ve been gathering ornaments and ribbons that I think will complement the Rushmore Fir beautifully.
I’ll be sharing the full reveal very soon, so mark your calendars and check back to see how this year’s design comes together. You can also follow along on Instagram @mysweetsavannah for behind-the-scenes peeks.
why i love king of christmas
Over the years, I’ve tried many different brands of artificial trees, but King of Christmas continues to stand out for its quality and realism. The branches feel sturdy and lifelike, the lights are evenly distributed, and setup is always easy.
For me, a Christmas tree is the centerpiece of holiday decorating. It sets the tone for the entire season, so investing in a tree that will last year after year is worth every penny. Whether you’re drawn to the King Noble Fir, the Rushmore Fir, or any of their other styles, you’ll find that each tree is crafted with attention to detail and designed to bring beauty to your home.
tips for decorating your tree
While we wait for the big reveal of my Rushmore Fir, here are some tips that always help me when decorating a tree:
-
start with a theme: neutrals, metallics, rustic, or bold colors all work — just pick one and stay consistent.
-
layer textures: combine glass ornaments with velvet ribbons, metallic accents, and natural pieces like pinecones.
-
add depth: place larger ornaments deep within the branches and smaller ones toward the tips.
-
don’t forget the top: a tree topper pulls everything together and makes it feel complete.
-
keep balance in mind: step back often as you decorate to make sure your tree feels even.
These tricks worked beautifully on my King Noble Fir, and I’ll be using them again this year with the Rushmore Fir.
