I have been wanting the Burke vase from Pottery Barn from some time now. It finally went on sale and I had it in my cart but it was on backorder until August!

Not wanting to wait, I decided to do my own version of the vase, and I am sure glad I did, because I not only saved almost $75, but I had it the next day!

I went to my local thrift stores to try and find a similar shaped vase with no luck.

I ended up buying a $24 vase at HomeGoods, spray painted it black, and that’s it!

I can’t believe I didn’t think to do this sooner. It might not be exact but it is good enough for me!
