Congrats! I have seen your cozy living room in the past as I follow your blog. I have always wanted to ask your opinion about your wood ceiling. I have the same thing (once popular in the Sierra foothills where I live)and struggle with the urge to paint it white. Have you considered painting yours? I admit I did a test run with a small area in my craft/office, although primed and coated x2 some fade through is visible. Ug!
Not sure what to do in the great room since they are cathedral ceilings. Any thoughts? Thanks! Cinda
