No matter how many times I re-decorate, I always go back to black.
I have to admit, as much as I love all white interiors,
they are not for me because,
well, they are not black…..

      Wonderful inspiration. We have several black pieces in our home. Love it! A couple of pieces hold white ironstone. Great together.

      I have to say, I totally agree with you! I wanted to paint my kitchen cabinets black, but I was afraid that it would seem morbid to others! I have some other black furniture and I try to make sure every room has something black in it. Lynn

      Lovin all these photos. I just purchased a new kitchen nook dining set in dark wood called black/brown. I like the contrast with our all white coastal style.

      It's great to hear someone admit this! While I too, love white, it is refreshing to see things other than all white! I love the 2nd picture! Black makes a great statement in a room!

      I love black! I painted my bathroom cabinets and kitchen cabinets black a few summers ago. I'm thinking of painting my front door (inside and out) black. I'm like you – love white but it's not for me. Or the kid, hubby, dog, and cats.

      Oh I am right there with you! Cracks me up how many people jumped on that "all white" bandwagon. Love the white in bits but love the black with different woods – like in pictures #2 and #4! Funny how black can seem warm and cozier to me! Love it! 🙂

      Black is such a mainstay for me too. I have black painted kitchen cabinets and about 98% of the people who find my blog due so by googling some version of "black painted kitchen cabinets"! That last photo has me drooling. I love EVERY. SINGLE. THING. about it!

      Melaine, I so agree with you. I love using black in furniture pieces and frames even though I like a healthy dose of whites and woods.
