While I had my Sunday off at the flea market, Hubby took the kids “surfing”
with some good friends of ours!

Summer is my favorite time of year. I love the hot weather and the long days of sunlight. We went to the beach as a family. Wonderful!
I am sad to see it go! It took a long time coming to the northeast! I love doing without schedules, hats, coats, gloves…and it means that time is marching on!

Our summer has been so unseasonably cool….i think I am gonna miss it too. But fall is my favorite by far!
We went to the beach and lake a few times this summer, was so much fun. Back to the lake this weekend, and beach in October. It's not over yet!!
Looks like fun! I will miss summer, but am so looking forward to fall when I can bake sweet treats while it is raining and overcast outside…my favorite thing we did this summer was take a trip to Sun River, Oregon….such a beautiful place and so much to do as a family!!
I hate to see Summer leave…I want to swim and gaze at the stars, chase fireflies and dig my feet in the sand everyday!
