Happy Friday!
Today is special because it is not only almost the weekend, and I happen to be in my favorite place in Mexico, but it is also my birthday!
I have officially been around the sun 47 times now.
I wouldn’t want to spend my birthday any other way than with my family in my happy place. Very grateful for this.
So in honor of my birthday and my favorite little island in Mexico, this Friday favorites post will be dedicated to that.
You will see some of my favorite handcrafted items that you can sometimes find in our little spot in paradise.
Some of the street vendors sell similar pom pom garlands.
I have bought them in the past and strung them on our tree. They make great decor for the holidays.
Silver tinsel is found everywhere this time of year in Mexico. I love how it sparkles.
This is my favorite lunch spot on the island.
Not only is the food great, but they also have a store attached with handmade items that are to die for.
They sell these cute hand carved fish and hearts as well as wood bowls. They are all beautiful.
There is a great little clothing shop and the shop owner makes all the clothes. Most are linen and they have shirts similar to this.
I always bring this body glow oil on vacation with me. It smells so good.
I bought this cute swimsuit for the trip.
And here is my biggest vacation secret.
There’s nothing like drinking pina coladas out of fancy cups with little umbrellas poolside.
Brought along my favorite sunglasses, although there is some pretty cheap knock offs here!
They have some pretty great necklaces too.
