Not only did our dining room and living room get a new look, our kitchen has too!
The biggest change is that I removed our kitchen desk, it was never used as a desk and always felt a little awkward.
Instead I opened up the area by adding a wall of wine storage and it feels so much bigger now!
I used 2 of these black metal racks to make up this one giant wall of wine!
Underneath it I placed 2 baskets, one for extra dishes, and the other holds dog toys.
I may swap these out for something else in the future, but for now the baskets work fine.
On the counter I added a spring touch with fresh greenery.
I found this plant called wandering jewel and though the colors were so pretty.
I planted it in a cereal bowl and then placed it inside of my favorite vintage wood bowl so it wouldn’t damage it.
Placed it on a couple cookbooks {this one and this one} on a vintage breadboard and added in pretty candlesticks.
Our coffee station has stayed about the same. My ring top canister DIY is still my favorite project. If you want to see that DIY you can do so here. If you’d rather just buy the canisters, you can find them here.
Our cookbooks are stored under the coffee station in a rustic wood crate.
The wood color adds warmth and is easy to pull out when I need a recipe.
I like having a big bowl on the counter for fruit, and this one is the perfect shape and color. It is very versatile. I have used it in many different rooms in the house.
Again, I placed it on a round wood cutting board to warm it up.
I chose a planter to hold our utensils as a nod to the warmer weather coming and the spring season ahead. It is black so it still ties in with our neutral color scheme throughout our home.

The best way to do warm-up exercises is to work out slowly and quickly. Your muscles will be susceptible to cold, shock, and internal damage if you do not have a thorough warm-up. The warmup is extremely important not only for bodybuilding but also with any sport, to help reduce injury and provide the best preparation step before a burst of strength.
