Instructions-
The key to this project is extremely light coats of spray paint.
For this project you are going to want to paint the INSIDE of the jar and the INSIDE of the bowl.
Once your price tags are removed, spray small bursts of spray paint and don’t get too close to avoid runs. Let each coat dry in between. Do not rush this step.
I bought materials for a couple lamps and ended up ruining one because I tried to rush it and got drips.
Assembly-
Once your jar and bowl are dry, put batteries in your nightlight.
Place the jar on your surface followed by the nightlight. Then simply rest the bowl upside down on top of the nightlight.
To turn the lamp on and off simply push gently down on the top.
That’s it! It is so easy!
TIP* If you don’t have an Ikea near you, they do ship! You can also take the nightlight with you to your local dollar store or thrift store and find a suitable sized van or jar to paint.
