Today I am going to share some wreaths I made for spring that were super simple and I just love how they turned out! There are a bunch of spring wreath DIY’s here today, so be sure to read to the bottom of this post! You will need only a few things to make this gorgeous wreath. Â
MATERIALS NEEDED-
Greenery, faux or real. I used real seeded eucalyptus because I just love the look of it and it dries beautifully. With these materials you can make two of these wreaths, all for around $15.00 each! Gold rings. These are the exact ones I used. Gold tape. This is the exact one I used. Electrical tape. Antique gold Rub n Buff.
DIRECTIONS-
Start by laying out 3 of the varying size wreath forms on the counter until you have a pattern that is pleasing to you. Repeat with the second set laying them out the same way. Cut small lengths {about 2-3″} of the gold tape and secure the hoops at the intersecting points, wrapping tightly around. Place them on a protected surface and dab the antique gold rub n buff all over. This will take that yellow brassy color away and make it look more expensive/custom. In the photo below, the one on the top has been painted. You can see the difference in the color here.
ATTACHING THE GREENERY/FLORALS-
Once the hoops are secure you can now add your faux or real florals or greenery. Lay your greenery out how you would like it to look. I used electrical tape to secure the greenery on, then I followed it up with the gold tape. Finally I dabbed on some rub n buff to the gold tape to age it as well. The gold tape is not very strong which is why I used the electrical tape underneath it. It is a stretchy tape and will hold the branches on securly.   What do you think? I think they are the perfect modern spring wreaths! Direct link to shop this whole space right here on my LTK page. Here’s those wreath DIY’s I promised! I can’t wait to see what you create.
