This sign wasn’t hard to make but it was time consuming because of all the wording. If this is your first time making one, you might want to start with something a little less wordy.
For this DIY Pottery Barn inspired sign you will need to place all your letters on your board using a level or ruler and a pencil to draw a straight line.
If you get re-positionable letters, you can reuse them over and over again.
This is probably the hardest and most time consuming part, but you don’t need to get crazy getting all of them spaced perfectly, as this is a hand painted looking sign which doesn’t need to be perfect.
I used the same wording as the inspiration sign but realized I had extra room on the bottom of each row so I added another kind of coffee drink and another dessert to those sections.
Once your letters are on, simply trace around each one with a pencil, then discard the letters, or save them for another sign.
Again, you can do this quickly, no need to get it perfect.
Finally, fill in your letters with white craft paint, highlighting the words you would like to in black.

I love this! I have some old cabinet doors that just might work for this project too. Thanks!
