You know those nights where you can’t sleep because your brain is going in a million different directions?
This is how this project came about.
It was probably 2 in the morning and this DIY came to me.
I have a love for animal prints, especially zebra.
I used to have a fabulous vintage brown and white zebra hide rug that over the years fell apart to pieces. Well, thank goodness I saved some of those pieces because they were perfect for this project!
I will say, you don’t need to have zebra hide for this project. Any fabric will do.
I found my brass napkin rings at a thrift shop. I see them there all the time.
Keep your eyes open for them.
If you are not a thrifter, these would work great.
Measure the width of one of the napkin rings. Mine were 1″
Next, measure the length. Mine were 5.5″ for reference.
Use a ruler and pen to mark the measurements on the back, then cut out.
That’s it, super easy!
Think of the possibilities with these.
You could custom make them to go with any color scheme, theme, or to match any of your cloth napkins.
You could even customize them for the different holidays.
I think if you saw these in a boutique they would cost over $10 each, easily.
I made 12 of them for around $5.00.
