February is the perfect month to make hot cocoa bombs!
I am going to show you how easy it is to make these, how delicious they are, and how you can package them up super cute for your sweetie on Valentine’s Day!
First up you will need the molds for the bombs themselves.

Gather the following items:
Chocolate chips. I used white chocolate, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate.
Vegetable oil.
Hot cocoa, any flavor.
Mini marshmallows.
Toppings such as superfine sugar, sprinkles, etc.
A ziplock bag to drizzle the chocolate on the tops.
Silcone molds.
Spoons.
Wax paper or parchment paper.
Let’s get started!
The first thing you will need to do is determine what color you want your shell to be.
Pour a bag of chocolate chips in a microwave safe dish. Add a couple teaspoons of vegetable oil and stir.
Place the bowl in microwave and slowly melt the chocolate chips, stirring every 45 seconds. Watch closely so it doesn’t burn.
Once all the chocolate is melted, add a small spoonful into each mold, covering the bottom and sides.
Place mold in the freezer for a couple minutes until the chocolate is hard.
Repeat with a second coat of chocolate and freeze again.
Now you are going to pop them out of the molds and fill the halves with hot cocoa mix and about 3 mini marshmallows.
Place the lids on the top of your filled halves, smoothing the melted chocolate around the middle to seal the two together.
While these are in the fridge, melt more chocolate and oil for the drizzle topping. For the white chocolate cocoa bombs, I melted dark chocolate.
