These healthy homemade meatballs are good on their own, but extra good in a big bowl of pasta!
If you have extra, they freeze nicely, and are handy when you are in need of a quick dinner or snack.
Healthy homemade meatballs
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground turkey
- 1 egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk
- 3/4 cup finely diced onion
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 3 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Mix everything with clean hands or in a mixer.
- Using a melon baller, scoop onto a greased {I use Pam spray} cookie sheet.
- You can then roll them into balls with your hands.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes, turning halfway through.
Like I said, you can freeze any extras, but these healthy homemade meatballs are so good I bet they all get eaten in one meal!
