As you are preparing your favorite foods for the Fourth Of July, I want to put this one on your list! These marshmallow & chocolate dipped ice cream cones are not only delicious, but festive as well! They are easy to make in a few simple steps, and are sure to wow your guests, not to mention, cool them off during the days/nights festivities. The sprinkles remind me of fireworks and I just think they are so fun. Here is what you will need to make these delicious marshmallow & chocolate dipped ice cream cones. GATHER YOUR SUPPLIES:
1 1/2 cups marshmallows Sprinkles Sugar cones Ice cream cone holder White chocolate chips
HOW TO ASSEMBLE:
Place marshmallows in a microwave safe bowl with approx. 1 teaspoon of water. Microwave on high for 15-20 seconds, stir, and repeat until melted. Dip the top of your ice cream cone in the gooey mix and then place on a wax paper lined cookie sheet for approx. 10 minutes, or until hardened. Next, melt white chocolate chips in the microwave using the same method as the marshmallows. Dip the cones with the dried marshmallow using the same method. Immediately roll in sprinkles, and place back on wax lined cookie sheet to harden. You can make these in advance and serve with your favorite patriotic ice cream on the big day!
As you can see, I made some with red, white, and blue sprinkles, and I made some with plain white. I think both are fun and create a unique dessert!
