Today’s post is all about summer cocktail recipes!
I love a good cocktail, in fact I just posted about my new favorite margarita recipe. Click here to print/pin the easiest most refreshing homemade margaritas.
But todays cocktail is not only delicious, it is gorgeous with its deep purple color, brought to you from Empress Gin.
If you have never heard of Empress Gin, you are in for a treat.
What is Empress Gin?
Empress Gin is handcrafted using eight carefully selected botanicals.
The combination of the herbs give this gin a natural indigo color that is truly stunning.
There are notes of black tea, butterfly pea blossom, juniper, citrus, and more.
How to serve Empress Gin-
You can make a traditional Gin & Tonic:
Fill a glass with ice, add Empress 1908 Gin, and serve with tonic on the side. Garnish with a grapefruit slice.
Or try an Empress Martini:
Stir on ice, strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.
Empress 75:
Shake on ice, fine strain into a chilled flute, top with sparkling wine. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Windsor Garden:
Lightly muddle herbs and shake ingredients over ice. Strain into a stemless wine glass with ice. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary.
Shake ingredients on ice, strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Muddle cucumber, basil, and mint in the bottom of a chilled rocks glass. Add ice and Empress 1908. Top with soda water. Garnish with a cucumber ribbon and basil.
Stir ingredients on ice. Strain into chilled a Nick & Nora glass. Express citrus and garnish with citrus peel (or blueberries for an extra pop of Classic Blue).
In a collins glass, build the gin, lime juice and ginger beer over ice. Garnish with a lime wheel and sprig of mint.

When I saw this I was smitten. I cannot wait to try this one. I was looking for a cocktail this color that didn’t look like something you would buy at a carnival. This is absolutely beautiful and sounds fabulous!
