I had so much fun creating this years 4th of July outdoor tablescape!
I wanted to create something neutral but still using patriotic colors.
I chose muted tones of red and blue and it has a fun vintage look to it which I love.
I hope this inspires you to create a fun table setting for your guests this holiday season!
The backdrop to this tablescape is a neutral flag I made.
The directions coming to the blog tomorrow, so be sure to check back in for that!
Instead of using a tablecloth, I found a great blanket with muted colors at TJ Maxx. I love the way the fringe blows in the wind creating a really laid back look.
I used melamine plates since I didn’t want anything falling off and breaking.
The shape of these are so great and they look like expensive stoneware dishes!
It looks like you can still buy them individually online, but hurry, they are selling fast.
I am going to use these indoors as well throughout the year!
Drinks in mason jars are a quintessential summer staple, and strawberry lemonade is the perfect color for this look!
I also set out a bottle of cherry cola at each place setting if someone prefers this over the lemonade. The label is so fun and has a great vintage vibe.
I put together a charcuterie board for people to much on while they wait for the BBQ burgers, chicken, and hot dogs.
I used these star shaped cookie cutters to punch out star shapes out of white cheeses for a fun patriotic look.
On each persons plate I used a cream frayed edge cloth napkin.Â
I then tied up a sparkler with a star shaped sparkler in raffia, and placed on top of each napkin.
For the centerpiece I used thrifted containers and filled them with flowers from the yard and added in some faux flowers as well. These are my new favorite.
I brought our everyday black silverware out to finish it off.
