Did you guess what I was doing with all that chocolate? No, I didn’t eat it. Although, I did have a few! I used it for party favors for my sister’s baby shower at the end of the month! Here are the invitations. It is a vintage themed shower! Remember, she doesn’t know if it is a boy or a girl!
The inside reads,
Cars and Trucks
or
Ribbons and Bows?
What they’re having nobody knows….
Then I relied on Marth Stewart to help me with the rest.
I used her 2″ white boxes and filled them a little with paper Easter grass. Then I filled sheer baby blue bags with 3 chocolates.
Have you seen Martha’s ribbon tape? It is actual ribbon backed with sticky stuff! It’s really neat! It comes 4 in a pack in varied colors/patterns. I stuck with the blues, pinks, and yellows. Then I topped each one off with one of her stickers to coordinate! Aren’t they cute! 25 done, 25 to go! This was a fun project my daughter and I did together!

The invitation is just adorable and the little candy box party favors are just gorgeous. What a sweet thing to do for your sister. Hugs, Marty
Really cute and what a deal! Did you save the heart shaped boxes, I’m sure you will come up with a great idea for them.
I don’t know if I have comment on your blog before but it is one of my favorite blogs out there. I love your ideas and this one is no exception. I have seriously sent people to your blog to check out an idea. SO thank you.
What a fun shower it will be. I love all the special touches – what a great idea!
darling.
xo
What a “sweet” idea! You made them look fabulous and they’ll be a huge hit, I’m sure of it. (that post kinda made me have a chocolate craving)
That looks like so much fun!!! I love how creative you are!
love the sweet boxes..
The favor boxes are beautiful. What a neat idea. Love your blog, picture of your bed makes me want to paint mine even more. It’s almost exactly like it but brass, and I’ve always wanted it white.
The invitations and favors are darling! Can’t wait to hear about more of your plans. Did you buy the vintage looking invites?
