I have had so much fun decorating for Halloween this year and creating a chic and luxe slightly spooky vibe. I like unique decor so that often means making something myself. That is exactly what I did here, and I am going to show you how to make one too. Todays project is a DIY floral skull for Halloween! This arrangement is easy to make and creates a big impact for your holiday entertaining! It would be so cute on a bar cart with red wine or other bloody mary’s. Make sure you scroll all the way to the end of this post so you can easily shop this look. I also am joining other blogger friends with their own unique takes on flower arrangements for the season. Here is what you will need for this fun, chic, and spooky centerpiece.
Products used-
SKULL VASE, I USED THIS EXACT ONE. GROCERY STORE FLOWERS AND GREENERY. YOU MIGHT ALSO WANT TO CUT SOME CLIPPINGS FROM YOUR YARD! RECYCLED CONTAINER TO HOLD WATER INSIDE THE SKULL VASE. ALTERNATIVELY YOU COULD USE OASIS.
Tips-
When picking out your florals, think of this spooky Halloween occasion. For example, branches with moss dripping off of them. Twigs in interesting shapes, twists, and turns. Leaves that are dried and crunchy, yes, dead! And when you are picking out your flowers, think dark and moody. Rich colors like plum or burnt reds are perfect for this arrangement.
How to put together this DIY floral skull for Halloween-
This project could not be easier. Grab your clippers and get to work! Cut different lengths of your florals, twigs, and branches for a wild look. Start tucking in each piece, one at a time, and make sure to cut the stems on a diagonal so they soak up the water. Keep filling until it looks fun, wild, and a little creepy! Every few days, refresh the water and it will last way longer. Be sure to pin these images to your Halloween decor boards!
