This crockpot mashed recipe has become a staple in our home every Thanksgiving, but it is also good any time of year to be honest!
Mashed potatoes are the ultimate comfort food whether you serve them with gravy, or just butter.
The combination of milk and smooth cream cheese in these potatoes is what makes them so creamy and delicious.
I have been known to add in garlic as well as heavy cream to this recipe to make them even more delectable.
Another addition I like is to add in a bit of freshly grated parmesan cheese.
So use this recipe as is, or tweak it to your families liking, just like I do!

For this recipe you will need:

How to make crockpot mashed potatoes-
Peel your potatoes then cut in to small chunks, then place in crockpot.
I will share my favorite one at the end of this post!
Place chunks of butter equalling 1 stick over the top of the potatoes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Pour chicken broth on the top and cook on high for 4-5 hours.
Drain the excess broth off.
Add another stick of butter, cream cheese, more salt and pepper if desired and milk.
