Christmas in the city, a home tour

I wanted to show you my friend Brynn’s home. She lives in a condo in the city and I love, love, love it.

This is the second year in a row I have done her Christmas decorating and it is always so much fun!

Last year we did a ton of red and it was very traditional. This year I took my cue from some vintage ornaments she inherited from her grandmother, which had pinks and blues in them.

I think her tabletop tree is so sweet.

I decorated her coffee table with items she already had. I repurposed a large white bowl from her kitchen and filled it with glittery pinecones. It sits on top of a log slice charger plate I swiped out of her dining room.

Her vase is filled with faux white peonies and branches of cedar I cut from my yard.

You really don’t need to go out and buy new everything for holiday decorating. Look at repurposing items from other rooms in your home.
