Don’t you just love it when you bump into friends that you haven’t seen in a really long time?
I met my friend Lesa back when her son and our daughter Savannah were in preschool together.
She is the kindest person you’ll ever meet.
Over the years we would keep in touch, but the past few years we lost touch, because life right?
But I happened to bump into her at Starbucks and that is when she told me she moved out of our little town and into the city. I was intrigued especially when she said her new home is a modern farmhouse style.
So fast forward a week or two and she invited me over to take a peek and was kind enough to let me take photos. She said they are still in the process of adding pieces in, but for the most part it was done.
Let me first give credit where credit is due. Enter the craftsmanship of Modern Den, and the designer Shelby. Shelby has a website coming soon but for now, if you are in the Seattle area and would like to contact her, she said it was ok to put her phone number on here. {425-894-6644}

As I type this I am still trying to comprehend all the goodness, attention to detail, and craftsmanship of this home. The lighting, the paint colors, the wall and ceiling treatments, the furniture, everything was just so well thought out and beyond beautiful.
The home was built in 1912 but was completely overhauled by Modern Den.
I can’t wait for you to see all the detail this home has, are you ready?
Let me first introduce you to my sweet friend and her adorable four legged friend.
The chairs add the perfect contrast. If you look closely you will see the most beautiful sconces on the back wall.
The kitchen and living room are one big area.
You can find the side table here and the nesting tables under the window here.
I love the blue island paired with the brass hardware. The pendants are called the machinist glass globe pendants from RH.
And now let’s head up to the third floor.
This faucet has always been one of my favorites.
Here is the link to the shower/tub faucet.
