yesterday the kids and I went blueberry picking
and got enough to make a yummy pie today!

We went on Friday and I made P-Dub's blueberry cobbler. My favorite thing to do with them is to eat them heaped atop a mound of Vanilla Yogurt. (I know, it's sounds kinda healthy-ish, but it tastes like dessert – especially w/ some granola tossed in!)
How wonderful! I've tried growing my own, but with no luck:)

I did this when we lived in Charlestona nd I cannot wait until my girls are old enough to share this with them!
WOW do they ever look delicious. We've had such a cold wet summer I haven't seen any local blueberries yet.
Blueberries are my favorite…yummy!!
We have several blueberry bushes of our own, but here they are done for the year. However, we froze more than 4 gallons to use later for some yummy pancakes and muffins. Seeing them fade here reminds me our summer is coming to an end…school starts in a week!
