We have been looking at these ugly broken down mailboxes for 11 years now. With our neighbors permission we spent the day (well, mostly my husband) building a new structure.
Who knew how much nicer it would look?
I am so happy I don’t have to look out my kitchen window at that any more!

Does this mean we are “grown ups” now because we get excited over mailboxes? I just recently did a post on changing our mailbox. I was thrilled to get rid of our old one.

As a former rural mail carrier- I can officially say that your husband’s handiwork is indeed a beautiful thing! We always loved it whenever somebody took the time and trouble to fix up and/or redo an unsightly row of mailboxes! Good job!
