I decorate for Christmas early.
I decorate for every holiday early.
The anticipation of the upcoming holidays is so great and I just can’t help myself.
Also, being an “influencer” I need to get my content out early so I can share my inspiration with all of you.
I love having our tree up, all the twinkle lights and magical memories that come with the season.
However, I have to admit, it is this time of the year that I can’t help but think about a clean slate and how I am going to decorate when all the decor comes down.
Please say I am not alone!
I like to gather inspiration photos from Pinterest, magazines, etc. and group them all together to see what the common denominator is between them all.
I think this year my goal is less stuff, light bright and clean!
This method helps me immensely and I encourage you to do the same!
Maybe it is just making a Pinterest folder, or maybe you like marking pages in a magazine.
Whatever it is, creating that grouping will help a lot!
I thought I’d share some photos that spoke to me.
Some I am sure I have shared before, some not.
But here is the method to my madness!
Please follow along with me on Pinterest right here!
Light and bright open spaces with intentional decorating.
The mix of sleek and rustic has always been pleasing to me. Not to mention, I love this color palette.
Here is another good example of this look:
This room has been an inspiration for me for so long, as I am sure it has been for many.
Neutral interiors will always win in my book.
And interiors with plenty of contrast.
