You only need a few simple ingredients for this easy dill pickle bomb appetizer, and most of them are probably already in your refrigerator.

1 package cream cheese (8 oz), softened

1/2 cup dill pickles, finely diced

1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon pickle juice

1 tablespoon fresh or dried dill weed

2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped

10 slices precooked bacon, finely chopped
Tip: I like using precooked bacon because it’s quick, convenient, and doesn’t leave your kitchen smelling like bacon all day.

How to Make Easy Dill Pickle Bomb Bites
Making this easy dill pickle bomb recipe couldn’t be simpler.
Step 1: Prepare the Coating
Finely chop the precooked bacon and green onions. Mix them together in a small bowl and set aside.
Step 2: Mix the Filling
In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, diced dill pickles, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, dill weed, and pickle juice. Mix until very well combined and smooth.
Step 3: Form the Pickle Bombs
Using a tablespoon, scoop the mixture and roll it into balls. You should get about 12 appetizer bites.
Step 4: Roll and Chill
Roll each ball in the bacon and green onion mixture, gently pressing so it sticks. Place them in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

- 1/2 Cup Dill Pickles (diced)
- 1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tbsp Pickle Juice
- 1 Tbsp Fresh or dried dill weed
- 2 Tbsp Green Onions
- 10 Slices Bacon, precooked
Instructions
- Chop up the bacon and green onions into tiny pieces and mix together in a bowl. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese with the diced up pickles, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped dill, garlic powder and pickle juice. Mix until very well combined.
- Make 12, Tbsp sized balls with the pickle and cream cheese mixture. Then roll the pickle balls in the bacon and green onions.
- Place in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
- I placed a wooden pick in each one so they are easy for people to serve themselves.
- Garnish your serving tray with fresh herbs for a beautiful presentation!
- I used thyme and sage, but any herbs would work.
