Back in 2013 I had the pleasure of helping my friend Heather Bullard and Serena Thompson style my friends home for Country Living magazine. You can see the photos here.
Since then my friend has sold that house and they moved to a manufactured home that they completely made over into a boho farmhouse which I posted about here.
Fast forward to present day. They have moved from that house and now live in a charming boho bungalow that you guessed it, is up for sale. I love it that she lets me document her homes along the way. Her and her husband are truly the most creative humble souls I have ever met. They have so much talent oozing from them and I cannot wait to see what they do next!
My good friend Tanya Mock is the listing agent on their home and has shared the gorgeous photos with me. If you are local to the Seattle area, she is your girl to sell your home or find you your dream home. Click on the bold Tanya Mock above to go to her page.
What they have done with this place is pure magic and I hope you enjoy the tour!
This house is around 1,700 sf of goodness. It has been planned so every inch serves a purpose, not to mention how every inch is darling and functional.
They removed paneling to reveal the shiplap. A few coats of Benjamin Moore Simply white brightens up this entire home, floor and all.
Heather says she wanted something clean, modern, and cozy. She tried to keep a color flow with all the whites by using greens, pinks, and gold with warm wood tones.
Heather is the queen of finding good deals. Several things she has found have been on the side of the road for free. I wish I had that kind of luck!
Her and her husband can also pretty much make anything and are the best at DIY projects.
They are both so inspiring to me!
The kitchen might be one of my favorites I have seen in a long time.
The green stools tie in with the green tile perfectly.
The refrigerator blends in perfectly with the cabinetry.
They made the island countertop out of wood from a bowling alley!
The breakfast nook off the kitchen is simple but has a ton of style with all the texture in the baskets hanging on the wall.
A cute little den/office also has stairs that lead to the basement. You’ll have to click here to see all those photos!
On the upstairs landing, there is a bicycle for decor and a fun white rope railing.
xoxo, Melaine
