I have a quarantine project you can do while stuck at home! 
Today I am going to show you how to age pottery with dirt. Yep, that’s right, dirt!

Here is what you will need.


Rummage through your attic or storage space and see if you have a piece of pottery that is outdated. It can be a bowl, a vase, or a lamp. Get creative with this! {I can’t wait to see what you do!}


Next you will need matte black spray paint. I happen to have a surplus of spray paint that I have saved from various projects over the years. If you don’t have any, you can get it here. 


Then the last thing you will need is your dirt.

Here is the vase that I am going to work on. I bought it months ago at a thrift shop because I liked the size and shape of it. 


It appears someone else tried a little diy on this with the splatter paint. 
Not the look I want at all. But for $7.99 I thought I would try this technique.
