If you want to WOW your guests this year, keep reading. And be sure to pin these images to your DIY or Easter boards. Here are the few things you will need to make these.
Supplies needed-
Air dry clay Easter egg shaped cookie cutter, I used the smallest out of this set {save these to make cookies another time!} Rub N Buff in antique gold Any flowers or greens from your yard Round sponge brush Rolling pin Wax or parchment paper to protect your surface
How to make these DIY golden Easter eggs-
These couldn’t be easier. If you can roll out cookie dough, you can make these! 1- Protect your surface with wax paper or parchment paper. 2- Grab a big ball of white air dry clay in your hands and work it around for about a minute to soften. 3- Using a rolling pin, roll out to a even thickness. 4- Cut out the Easter egg shape using your cookie cutter. 5- Press any botanicals you have into the eggs to leave an imprint. I used seeded eucalyptus. 6- Let dry overnight, flipping every so often. 7- Once dry, place rub n buff onto a round headed sponge brush and paint only the high spots of the egg. You will want to leave the imprints so go lightly.
That’s it! Super easy, and super cute! I have so many other projects I have done with air dry clay which you can check out too! Christmas ornament gift toppers Easter bunny gift tags Valentine’s Day conversation heart napkin rings
