Today I have the cutest orange mimosa recipe for you!
Who doesn’t love a mimosa? Well, my mimosa is made even cuter because the orange juice is in the shape of an orange with a real stem!
Your guests are going to love these. Keep reading to see how easy it is to make these.
What you will need-
This ice ball maker
Orange juice, I like pulp free
Several oranges with the stems and leaves.
*tip* the leaves are always falling off of these oranges so while you are at the grocery store filling up your produce bags, add in a few extra loose stems and leaves. The smaller ones work best for this particular drink!
How to make-
These orange ice cubes can be made up to a week in advance and left in your freezer.
For some reason when I made these they only made half circles. For the life of me I couldn’t figure out was I was doing wrong. Maybe you will have better luck, but even the half circles turned out to be cute.
Fill your round ice cube trays with orange juice.
Then simply stick a stem with a small leaf into the top hole of each ice cube. You want them to be small so when you remove the lid, the leaf will easily slide through the hole.
Place in the freezer until firm and remove. You may need to run them under water to loosen them a bit.
The high sugar content in the orange juice will break down quickly as the champagne is poured over them, making these perfect for mimosas!
