I know, I know. 


Call me crazy but after living with this room for a little over a month I just felt something was off. 


A couple things:


It felt a little dark.
The headboard felt too big for the space.
The rug, while it was pretty, was always getting bunched up.


When I first started searching for a bed for this space it came down to two options.

One was the wood one I ended up with.
The second being this upholstered one.

I should have went with my gut and ordered the upholstered one, but instead took a chance on the wood one. 


So, I am sure you know where this is going.


I sold the wood one and bought the upholstered one. 


Am I happy now? Yes, very much so!

Of course I opened a can of worms because after putting the bed in I noticed my lamps were way too big. So off I went on an excursion to find new lamps. I ended on these after going to a million stores and they are beyond perfect. {they are cream colored, which I am not seeing online} The best part is that they are really inexpensive. I also was able to re-use the other ones in other areas of my home so that made me happy.
