Why is it that something as little as light fixtures could be driving me so mad?
I think I have narrowed down the search to industrial pendant lighting.
Now, to choose the finish and find some at a reasonable price, that’s the tricky part.
I am loving all of these.
I guess the next step is getting my husband on board with the idea, because unlike some husbands, mine has an opinion…….

We just received 5 of the lights in picture #3, and let me assure you, they are fantastic. They are going to be installed at the new and improved original Grand Heron.

I love the look, just keep in mind that they only direct light downwards and not all around the room.
No. I so get this. Two years ago we did an addition to our little vacay home and I was trying to save money and find lighting fixtures that would blend with the foyer lighting. I spent days stressing this. I would go to sleep and wake up thinking lighting. I was in serious need of an intervention. In the end the foyer fixture went to the master bedroom and i started all over in the rooms that were visible to one another. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and go with what your heart wants.

I too am loving #3…I love the new darker ORB finishes and have several. We have really unique track lighting in that color above our island, would have loved pendants, but the track was an easier/less costly choice. It blends really well with our kitchen (white and khaki).
I love them all but the one is picture #3 is my favorite!!!!!

I like 2, 3, 6. That's a lot isn't it? 2 might just be a bit small and it depends if that particular white is creamy enough. I do like that it has both the light and dark finishes. It's safe to say that 3 would work because it looks like it is the same finish that you have in your existing lighting. I just love the entire look of 6. Very vintage industrial. Can't wait to see what you end up choosing!

Have you checked IKEA…they have the best prices I've found. Last time I was there I saw some that I liked. Come to think of it I think I had a pic of them in a post I did a few weeks ago.

I love the industrial look in the kitchen. #4 looks like a custom holophane from Ann Morris antiques (I used to work there). They are all hand made and SO gorgeous.
