When my kids were small I made some fun over sized scrabble tiles for their playroom wall after seeing this photo below from Posh Tots. I don’t believe they carry them anymore though.
I decided to make a few more for Ruffles and Rust Square.
I brought in around 80 of them yesterday.
There is so many uses for these.
You can hang them on a wall, rest them on a shelf, or give them away as a unique gift.
The numbers are true to the “real” game and each one is sanded, sealed, and ready to be put to use!
They measure approx. 5″x5″ and are $4 each.
I had fun coming up with different phrases.
It would be neat to do your kids’ names to hang over their beds, or simply
“boy”
or
“girl”
You could do your last name with the word “family”
The possibilities are endless!
Have fun!
xoxo

Wow, I just love this idea and the fact that you decided to make them yourself instead of not buying a more expensive version. I enjoy your can do attitude and I have a feeling these scrabble letters will be showing up in other homes. Hey maybe you will see them in Pottery Barn, they seem to look to you for their ideas.
I agree, what an awesome idea. I LOve them…
How cute are these. So creative, I wish I lived closer to you so I could easily purchase them. BooHoo…
These are wonderful!! Loving them! Smiles ~ Robin

Melaine, we can tell you that these ARE very popular – we sold TONS of our 'giant letter tiles' at Farm Chicks a few weeks ago!
We chose not to put the numbers on ours or to call them by the game's name, as Milton Bradley might not look too kindly on that ;0) We came up with a nifty holder for them, too…

How fun! You can do so many things with them. Lay them on a coffee table, hang them on the wall, oh the options are endless!
Melanie, can you please, please sell these and your signs on Etsy? Would love to purchase…live all the way on the East Coast. Thanks.
Deb made these and sold them at Farm Chicks without the numbers. Great minds think alike I guess.
