These are my Moms pumpkin chocolate chip muffins……
mouth watering, family recipe, consider yourself lucky!
{wink, wink}
I usually double this recipe and this time of year,
I think we make them once a week!
Make a bunch and freeze the rest for those
1 c. sugar
1 Tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 cup plain canned pumpkin
1 stick butter, melted
6 oz. milk chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix the first 6 ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.
In an electric mixer beat the eggs.
Add pumpkin and butter.
Mix well, but do not over mix.
Add the dry ingredients a little at a time and mix.
Add chocolate chips.
Bake for about 25 minutes
Enjoy!

Thanks for the recipe, I just took mine out of the oven a little bit ago. We don't have pumpkin pie spice where I live in the Middle East so I made my own using 1/4 teaspoon of cloves, 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. I made your recipe for my stitch group's tea in the morning. Thanks again!

I just made this recipe tonight…yummmm it was so good. I already ate two, and they're particularly fabulous when the chocolate is still all melty on the inside. Thanks!!
