I have a really fun project for you today!
I think this DIY pumpkin beverage chiller is so cute, and it is so easy to make.
You can make this in a few easy steps, and it’s guaranteed to be the center of attention at your next fall get together.
You will need one large faux pumpkin for this. Any color is fine, I chose white to blend in with my decor. You will want to get the oblong one. I purchased mine at Michaels with a coupon and it was only $12 for the 13″ pumpkin.
You will also need this tool to cut the pumpkin opening.
Lay your pumpkin on its side and lightly draw an oval with a pencil where you would like your opening to go. It is always a better idea to cut the hole smaller and have to go bigger later. You don’t want to cut the opening too big because you can’t go back.
Using your wood burning tool with the razor blade attachment, carefully cut along your line.
If you would like to add the word “drink” to your pumpkin, follow the next steps.
Print out this image in the appropriate size. It will be blurry, but that is fine.
Fill with ice, your beverage of choice, pat yourself on the back, and be prepared for your guests to be wowed with your craftiness!
