Want to wow your guests this holiday season with a beautiful, and easy to make Thanksgiving centerpiece?
I am going to show you how to make a large centerpiece that combines faux stems as well as real branches and sprigs from your yard. At the end of this post make sure to check out all the other fun centerpiece ideas from my friends!
I went to Anko, one of my favorite stores to get all the supplies. They sell faux magnolia leaves and stems that are very realistic looking.
As well as the faux stems, you will also need clippings from your yard.
You will need a large basket, and in that basket, a water tight bowl and floral oasis.
Look at all the great basket options that Anko carries, right here.
Start placing your stems, real and faux into the oasis and around the perimeter. Stand back every now and then to see if everything looks balanced and the right height.
Seeded eucalyptus is also a pretty option for this, but not necessary.
Now it’s time to set the table!
Once again, Anko had everything I needed from large plates to candles for gifting.
I don’t know about you, but I like to eat, and I like to eat a lot on Thanksgiving! These plates are large and rectangular so you can load up and not even have to go back for seconds! The best part is that they are only $5.00!
Because they are so large, they need a substantial charger, so I used these cutting boards under each one.
On top of the plates I personalized candles for each guest to take home.
The labels tied to the jars also double as place card holders.
I used gold stickers to spell out the names and tied them onto each one.
Are you ready to see how it looks all pulled together?
I think this is the perfect Thanksgiving table for us this year and I cannot wait to sit around it with my family and enjoy the company.
