Hello and happy Monday!
If you are stopping by after seeing what it’s like in Pennsylvania at Hymns And Verses, welcome!
Now you are traveling all the way over to the Pacific Northwest to Washington and our neck of the woods to see what winters look like here!
It is so magical and we feel so blessed to get snow around Christmas time, and while it is not predicted this year, last year we had a big snow storm at this time.
Myself, and some of my neighbors got some great pictures and I am so excited to share them with you here.
We were pretty snowed in and the kids had fun playing with the other neighbor kids in the snow. The adults took turns hosting gatherings at one another houses. There were drinks by the fire pit, ping pong tournaments indoors, cross country skiing, and the main mode of transportation was snow mobiles.
Our lodge looked beautiful blanketed in snow. This is where we have our Christmas parties, and many other fun events. It is also where I got married 23 years ago!
The snow didn’t seem to bother the ducks or the geese.

Your home is AMAZING in the snow…
So pretty, Melaine! We don't have snow yet here outside of Chicago, either. I like that you use snowmobiles as your mode of transportation when it snows. It reminds me of Michigan's upper peninsula. That's pretty much all they use during the winter and they have big conifers like you do. Thanks for being on the tour!
Everything is always so pretty. Merry Christmas!

Your lodge looks stunning and I LOVE that photo with the deer. So very pretty. We had snow and it rained today and it's all gone. Tomorrow is supposed to be 60s. New England weather can be so strange.
Your home and town looks stunning in the snow! Love that lodge and how fun how your neighbors all celebrated the snowstorm together! Fingers crossed that you'll get snow before Christmas! 🙂
Oh my gosh, you are surrounded by so much natural beauty!!! Wishing you a blessed Christmas with your family!
