Everyone always shares romantic tables for two for Valentine’s Day, and truth be told, I always had too.
But sometimes you just wanna see a cute table setup that can be for friends, or families, or something you can incorporate into your everyday life.
So even though this post is titled, how to set a table for Valentine’s Day, I think there are ideas you can take from it for other occasions.
The jumping off point for me was these cute wooden hearts. My mother in law who lives in Mexico picked these up for me at a really cute shop near her. They are aged to perfection with a great grey patina, and no two are alike. I tried to find something similar in the states but had no luck, so a huge thank you to her for sending me these!
The color palette is soft and aged with hues of grey, cream, and white.
I found these great white washed wood chargers here. Then I layered them with marble charger plates in a smaller size, and finally a low bowl that serves as a dinner plate {perfect for pasts or salads} and a small grey bowl.
Another fun new thing that I am super excited about is these acrylic napkin rings. I think they are so versatile and I can’t wait to use them in many more table settings!
A bottle of wine is always nice to go along with dinner if you prefer. I put mine in a marble holder to tie in with the marble chargers. That along with a candle will help set a romantic mood if that is what you are going for. I chose one in a beautiful color to coordinate with the other colors. They are on major sale right now too!
I opted to let the vase be the centerpiece alone without adding flowers, but you certainly could.

I hope you are having a great day!
