You don’t have to spend a lot of money to make a beautiful flower arrangement. Today I am sharing with you how to arrange grocery store flowers, and at the bottom of this post, you will find links to my friends sharing theirs.


There is a lot of information but it is super simple, and I only spend $25 on my whole arrangement. 

I am going to share my tips and tricks for creating a lush and beautiful centerpiece with ought spending a ton of time or money.

NUMBER ONE


Right after bringing the flowers home, take them out of the wrapper, and using pruning shears, cut the stems at an angle and place in water until you are ready to arrange them.


NUMBER TWO


Start with a vase or vessel with a wide mouth. I like to use unconventional vases like old galvanized buckets or watering cans. The wide mouth will allow for a lot of flowers, which you will need for this full look.


But I think my favorite vase might be right here. It’s large, has a great texture and shape, and I love the light grey color.  It also comes in a charcoal color which is stunning! So if you are in need of a good vase, this one would be perfect!


NUMBER THREE


The other tip I have for grocery store flowers is to get them at Trader Joes! They get flowers in daily and have a wide variety. They are far less expensive than your regular grocery store. 
For under $25 I got 20 white tulips, 2 bunches of seeded eucalyptus,  1 large bunch of white mums, and 1 large bunch of white berries. I feel like this would’ve been double if I bought them at my normal grocery store. 


NUMBER FOUR


Fill your vessel 1/2 full of water and then use scotch tape to create a grid on the top of your vase to help flowers stay in place.
