decking the halls in our basement

Our basement got the holiday treatment this year as well.

It’s such a fun space to decorate and every time I enter the home via the basement, it just makes me happy.

The basement in our home doubles as our mud room, and it’s also where I have been doing all our gift wrapping this year.

We recently added a sofa to the space and it really cozies it up and I want to hang out more down there now.

I think the ski lift chair will always be my favorite thing though.
