Happy Monday friends!
Today I have an easy dill pickle bomb appetizer recipe for you.
Whether you are a dill pickle fan or not, I think you will enjoy these easy no bake appetizer bites for your next get together.
These are the perfect addition to your summer BBQ.
These dill pickle bombs are also Keto friendly!
You only need a few ingredients for these, most of which you probably already have in your refrigerator.
I like to use the bacon that is already cooked. It is much more convenient and won’t leave your kitchen and house smelling like bacon.
I used cheddar cheese, but you can use any kind of cheese you like.
If you don’t want the bacon on these, try rolling them in herbs mixed with crushed nuts, or parmesan cheese.
For this recipe, you will need the following:
1 pkg Cream Cheese (8 oz)
1/2 Cup Dill Pickles (diced)
1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
1 Tbsp Pickle Juice
1 Tbsp Fresh or dried dill weed
2 Tbsp Green Onions
10 Slices Bacon, precooked
To make these dill pickle bombs:
Chop up the bacon and green onions into tiny pieces and mix together in a bowl. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese with the diced up pickles, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped dill, garlic powder and pickle juice. Mix until very well combined.
Make 12, Tbsp sized balls with the pickle and cream cheese mixture. Then roll the pickle balls in the bacon and green onions.
Place in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
I placed a wooden pick in each one so they are easy for people to serve themselves.
Garnish your serving tray with fresh herbs for a beautiful presentation!
I used thyme and sage, but any herbs would work.
