When decorating for Fall, most of us think about the interiors of our home.
But we still spend a lot of time outdoors in the Fall, in fact it is actually my favorite time to spend outdoors!
So last week I spruced up our outdoor spaces.
I planted some new Fall plants, scattered some white pumpkins all around, and gave all the outdoor pillows a good cleaning.
This summer we installed synthetic turf and a putting green and it has made our backyard so much more useable.
I will be sharing more on Monday about that process, but today is all about the pretty pictures.
Our backyard backs up to a forest so it is very private.
It is also a very multi functional space.
It is where we work, where we play, and where we relax.
Our backyard consists of a deck and hot tub, outdoor kitchen area, sunken trampoline, fire pit, putting green, as well as our office and storage areas.
It functions well for us when we have large gatherings for all ages.
PUTTING GREEN-
This has become such a fun spot to hang out and practice golf.
I brought over a couple chairs from the fire pit and added a cozy plaid blanket and a seasonal pillow my friend made for me.
A few white pumpkins and a lantern and it’s a cute little spot to have a glass of wine while watching friends and family play.
OUTDOOR KITCHEN-
Our outdoor kitchen is just steps off our deck and it’s where we BBQ year round, watch football games in the Fall, and eat dinner sometimes.

DECK-
This is the gathering place for all!
We love our deck.
It overlooks the lake and has incredible views.
During the winter months I pack the furniture away undercover, but we still have another month or so before I will have to do that.
We use our hot tub a lot in the Fall.
Almost every night actually.
It’s a great way to relax after a busy work day.
We recently upgraded our cover and went with this one and we are so happy we did!
Not only do our dogs like to jump on top of it, but people use it as an extra place to sit, so a super durable one was a must!
I love watching all the summer flowers turn beautiful Fall colors.
If you want a source list for all our deck furniture etc., you can find it here.
And finally, a peek at our backyard and office from the deck.
OFFICE-
We had new concrete steps poured this summer as well which will make it really nice walking out to our office this Fall and Winter.

My boys would be over the moon for that putting green – our friends have one and they love it when we go there. And a sunken trampoline? On the lake with a hot tub! Wow, sounds like a paradise!
