how to style your shelves for Fall

Styling shelves for different seasons can be so fun.

Today I am going to show you how I styled my shelves and coffee table for Fall.

I like to keep things simple and not add too much.

Little bits of fall can be added to your shelves with branches from your yard, faux florals or stems, mini pumpkins, bundles of wheat, a stack of books, etc.

If you like to go all out and decorate with more, more power to you!

For me I like to have the Fall decor and colors blend in with what I already have in the room rather than compete with it.

I fell in love with these faux stems, and I am not even really a faux plant person. They just have such a fun color and texture to them. I think I have 9 stems in my vase to create a really full look.

Vase was a lucky find at HomeGoods.

Adding some texture in with wooden beads is always fun too. I like to think texture and colors over mass produced Fall items.

I have had these leather pumpkins for years and I use them every year without fail.

I kept my shelf styling to a minimum color palette of black, white, creams, and grey.

I did get these soft green linen pillows for Fall which I love.

They add just the right amount of texture and color in this room.

Pillows are the easiest way to change the look and feel of a room, and they are always so cozy looking.

So that turned into maybe more of a living room tour over fall shelf styling, but I think it’s important to have it all cohesive.
