I wasn’t sure if I would be able to pull these off, and while they are not perfect, they are super cute.
I used the cookie and frosting recipe from this post. I tinted the frosting to a robins egg blue using baby blue, green, and yellow gel food coloring.
I also couldn’t find a single egg shaped cookie cutter so I ended up using a plastic egg shaped dye cup from Target and it worked perfectly.
After you pipe on your frosting, or spread it on, use a clean toothbrush or paint brush to “speckle” on the brown using watered down brown gel food coloring.
