I also wanted to share with you a recipe that I made yesterday.
They are called pumpkin bars, although mine turned out more like cake.
Still yummy nonetheless!

I think I have eaten something pumpkin every day in October!
I made these without the icing because I didn’t have any cream cheese and they were fabulous without.

      I love Sosobella! Honestly, it would be so hard to pick one! But I think I would get the first one you picture, or the Small-Rimmed-Circle-Tags and put meaningful initials on it! I'm already a follower of MSS!

      These are so sweet. I'm already a follower, and though I've had some really great fall dinner parties this month, taking my son (16 months) skating for the first time would probably be the best thing I've done. My mother- and sister-in-law and I sit on the bench with our teas, while my father-in-law holds one hand and my husband holds his other. He's so small, he totally doesn't get it, but they've both played hockey their whole lives, he has his first pair of skates before he could even walk!

      This October my favorite thing will probably be tomorrow when my kindergartner gets dressed up for her class party and then goes trick-or-treating in our downtown area with her new school friends.

      My favorite thing this October is actually happening tomorrow, and costume playdate party at our house. But I've had a ton of fun all month long getting ready, making decor, deciding on creepy food, etc.

      My fav. thing in October was FOR SURE travelling to B.C. to visit my family for Thanksgiving and meeting my new niece for the first time 😀 And celebrating my youngest daughters 1st birthday! 'Twas a GREAT month!! Lots to be thankful for!!!

      My favorite thing I did this october so far has been going donating time/work and $$ to Wish Upon A Wedding…a wonderful foundation that gives couples who are terminaly ill a wedding of their dreams. warms the soul

      My favorite October activity was going to the pumpkin patch with my hubby and girls. The farm animals were fed, the pumpkins picked and family pictures taken, it was wonderful! Love any sunny crisp fall day too! We take em when we can get them:) Usually it's rain and wind on the west coast.

      The most favorite thing I did this October was when I was in a Chef contest at my church, competting against 12 other teams for presentation, taste, and decoration of table, and ended up winning!!!!! It was so much fun, and I will have to say I was pretty proud of myself!!!!!

      My most favorite thing about October was watching my 41 yr old sister Jill who battled ovarian cancer 2 yrs ago marry the man of her dreams on October 9th! Standing up in her wedding and being a part of that along with my boys who were ushers was probably the highlight of my year not just my month! Can't wait to send out our family Christmas card with my boys all decked out in their tuxes! What a wonderful fall day we had as well! Sorry…I rattled on! But it really was a day to remember!

      my favorite thing I have done this October….my husband finally started his vacation after 1 year of him working 6 days a week and 14+ hour days, it is such a joy for us all to just be together…playing board games, baking, watching movies together….there is NOTHING like family time and we really needed it!!

      My fav October thing… I have mostly enjoyed seeing so many developments in my daughter. She's 14 months, so every day is some new word or some funny new thing that she learned how to do. I guess she and my husband are pretty much my favorite thing about every month though!

      celebrated my youngest's with DIL 1st anniversary, the return of my eldest w/ DIL from 40 days in amsterdam, canadian thxgiving, and my birthday all at once and ALL together! :))

The deer are plentiful and I am just so thankful that I don't have to work (right now) and I can stay home with my little miracle baby!

      Probably my favorite thing that I've done in October was to dedicate our twin boys to the Lord at church Oct. 17th. They've been in His hands since before they were born, but it was such a celebration to formally do it in the church surrounded by friends and family!

      Honestly, the favorite thing that I did this October was to view and enjoy all of the wonderful decorating my favorite bloggers were doing.

      I WANTED to decorate outside our door with pumpkins, gourds and the like, but was ultimately discouraged by envisioning the desecration the neighborhood cats would have gleefully performed upon them…
