I have been dying to do a project with silhouettes….I would love to take shots of my whole family, including the dog, and do something clever with them.
Oh, I LOVE silhouettes!! I especially love the last picture with all the mismatched frames grouped together – what a cool look!!

I have done nothing with silhouettes, but think they are wonderful! I love the classic black and white with patterns where their clothes/dog collar/etc. would be! I would like to do one for my dog, Gabby, soon since she is probably at her cutest right now.. Haha

I love the sihouettes too, but haven’t ever done anything with them. I would love to do some for my mom of all the grandkids, but have been searching for ideas on how to do them myself. I found a tutorial on how to do them in photo shop but I haven’t played with it yet.

I have tried this and its not too hard…i did simple silhouettes of my two children and framed them in oval black frames…..I want to try doing a full body silhouette of my daughter in her tutu….we’ll see! love the images you pulled together….very inspired!

I also did simple profile headshots of my kids, when they were young…this was before I was using digital…so much easier now! Then I “swooped” the collar area as is shown in your terrific shots. I also put them on oval frames and hung then one under the other. I like the mismatched grouping. I definitely should redo them now and the dog, too!
