I rescued an old planter that used to hang on the side of our house, as it was going into the campfire. I took off the rotting planter boxes and cut it to size. Once it was all stripped down to the chippy white paint (complete with dirt) I knew exactly what I was going to do with it!
I have always wanted one of those wood flag signs that Pottery Barn sells.
Now I have my own, and the cost: FREE
It’s super heavy so I will have to wait till my hubby gets home to hang it, but it is going on the side of the house right over the BBQ!

You always have something new to look at over here, I love that and I love the flag, I bought mine at Marshalls last yr, it’s been in my sons rm and now on the outside of my house(; Yours turned out perfect!
