Todays DIY project is a great one if you are planning on hosting Easter and need a last minute centerpiece. Here’s how you can make a simple Easter table centerpiece in a few easy steps. GATHER YOUR SUPPLIES: Large clear vase Branches, faux or real Eggs, faux or real, or a mix of both I used these, these, and these. INSTRUCTIONS: I wanted a ton of variety in the egg color for interest, so I ended up painting a bunch of them black and grey to go with our decor. Here’s a tip I find helpful and I think you might too…. Most plastic eggs come with a hole in the end. If you stick a wooden skewer in it, you can “plant” it in the ground outdoors and spray paint that way. DIRECTIONS ON PUTTING TOGETHER: Once you have gathered and or painted all your eggs you can place them in any large clear vase randomly. If your vase is really big and you don’t have enough eggs to fill the entire thing, place a second vase upside down inside the larger one, centered, then fill the eggs around it and on top of it. Then simply tuck in real or faux branches to finish it off, or leave as is! If you used faux eggs you can recreate this year after year. If you aren’t using faux branches, make sure to cut them right before your gathering so they stay fresh out of water for a short time. OR, you can opt to not invert the center vase, fill that with water, placing the eggs around the outside of it! Either way, you will have a cute and simple centerpiece for your spring table or Easter gathering. How about some more ideas for your spring decor?
