Hello friends!
I hope you are all having a relaxing and fun Saturday!
I have been busy the last few days giving my kitchen a mini makeover!
I promise to show pictures soon!
I think if it’s used as an accent color like in this beautiful home,
it can be quite lovely.
Besides the orange,
I adore those painted cabinets and shiny wood floor!
I think I have a new found love of fabrics….
Don’t forget to enter the Cabbages & Roses giveaway below if you haven’t already.
I’d also like to welcome our newest sponsor,

I agree about the orange. Little hints here and there add a lot of freshness to a room but I wouldn't go painting a wall orange (I don't care if it has "burnt" in the title or not).
This house is stunning. I especially love the little wall shelf tucked away to the side of the stove. Everything is right at arms reach. You can see it from the side but when looking at the stove, everything would look neat and tidy. Very creative!

I agree the orange as an accent is terrific! It pops at you but it's not in your face! I love the fabric on the window, the color is so fresh and the pattern is very attractive. Love the kitchen but my eye went to the gorgeous marble top!
Hello,
Love your blog. I do like touches of orange through out the house. Brings the sunshine indoors.
Have a good weekend. Thank you for sharing.

Wow! I have never been an orange person but those photos are making me love orange!
I love how subtle the orange is. Can't wait to see what you've done with your kitchen, I'm sure it is fabulous as always!
I never thought I would be an orange type of gal, but after seeing those lovely pictures, who knows?
Love orange! I've started using it myself, in its 'mutated' forms… persimmon, coral, terra cotta.
Great blog!
I LOVE orange! I decorate everything with a little spice of orange: my home, my wedding, and even my blog (http://my–humble–abode.blogspot.com/)!! Bright & bold can still be beautiful & chic!!
I'm not normally a fan of orange, but this home is divine. All that white with little hints of orange… I believe I now have a new found love of orange!!

I like the orange accents too….but I would really like to know what the paint color on the wall is. I love it 🙂 Any ideas?
I had never been fond of orange up until 2 years ago when I decided to purchase a burnt orange throw from Pottery Barn. Our home is mostly neutrals with English & French Country antiques. My upholstered pieces are either cream or wheat and the furniture and floors are mostly all a deep rich brown. I bought velvet pillows from Crate & Barrel in the color Bennet Cayenne. The orange is fresh and modern and really is a great pop of color with the neutrals especially chocolate brown and cream. These colors were also used in the movie "It's Complicated" With all that said, I prefer accents in orange, walls might be too much for me. Check it out my blog and see what you think http://www.antiqueaholics.blogspot.com
I would love to know what color the gray on the walls are!!! I love that color!!!!!!!
